Pride and Prejudice play: the pictures

October 23rd, 2007

I know; the play took place almost two weeks ago – pictures should have been posted soon afterwards, but with one thing and another, I just haven’t gotten around to it until now. I know some of you have been anxiously awaiting these :-) , so I’ll delay you no longer.

And so, without further ado, I present to you our Pride and Prejudice play: the pictures.

Here there be comments...

    *Gasp!*

Who is that devilishly handsome gentleman in the grey tailcoat? By George, If I wasn’t so modest in my adoration of fine gentlemen, I think I would have swooned by now for love of him. But then again, come to think, some of those young ladies are uniformally charming themselves, quite handsome enough to tempt me, and I shouldn’t wonder why! I do seem to recall a certain pair of fine eyes in particular that were rather brightened by the excercise during dancing… Oh! Whatever can he mean?

Come now, surely a lady’s imagination is very rapid, is it not?

    Wahahahahahaha….

Hey guys! Thanks for commenting – we love to hear from our readers.

    Esther,
Thanks for reminding me! I’ll see if I can get you the dvd post haste.

    Bayley,
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I’ll be sending you a letter/email soon. :-)

    Hi Trina!
Actually, we do have a video! Or at least, we’re working on it. I don’t know if you’d want to really sit down for three hours to watch our play though. :-)

    Elizabeth,
Hey! Again, thank you so much for driving all the way here to see our play and spend time with us! It was fun, wasn’t it?

    Mr. Darcy,
Hmm, I don’t know about that. For myself, I’ve rather taken a liking to the young lady in the white dress; “such an excellent performance on the piano forte!”

[...] Long before we moved South I had planned to make at least one costume from my favorite periods, Colonial, Regency, Victorian, and Medievil. However with the hustle and bustle of de-cluttering and packing away my sewing plans were place on the shelf. Or more correctly, box. Since our play, Pride and Prejudice in October, [...]

Your play looks like a blast! Ya’ll look so great dressed up like that. And I say!…what a ‘piano forte!’ (It really struck my funny bone! :) Looked so very old fasioned with all those cords and switches and stuff on the back.;D) Sorry…I don’t know if that was meant to be funny.
