The Countdown Begins

October 26th, 2007

Day 7

There are exactly 7 days until the closing date on our house. After the 2nd of November, the Willis family will be officially ‘homeless.’

We most likely won’t be leaving the North for good until around the 15th of November. Between now and then we’ll be living with my sister’s family, and visiting friends on the weekends It’s happening in just 7 days.

Wow. Reality is starting to sink in for me. We really are moving, and we’re moving soon! This Saturday will be our last church service we’ll be attending; any one of these Fridays or Mondays could be my last working at the stable. It really and truly is happening! We have our storage unit, and we have our dumpster. Now we have to pack like mad.

It’s going to be an interesting week!

    The heck with interesting week. You know how much we’re all missing you already, so I won’t even trouble to mention it. Saturday night was sweet even though it was about as wished for as a shot in the arm. See you tomorrow.
