Hair Design – Julia Style

November 26th, 2007

A bundle of hair, bows, clippies, a ton of hair bands and barrettes in the hands of a four-year-old girl and you get…

THIS!

A kid’s way of thinking (or at least Julia’s): the more the better!

She insisted on doing Katrina’s hair also:

I’ve never worn so many barrettes and bows in my life!

I think we look very becoming, don’t you? :-)

Cute – my sentiments exactly. But I wouldn’t attend a ball in such a fashion! :-)
BTW Mortal Enenemie, you can’t put too much salt on one’s nuts – things go downhill from there if such a tragedy as this would occur.
Oh, and I put the timer on the camera so we could get a decent picture. Technology these day is awesome!

You should totally where such things at a ball! And salt on nuts…. well it depends on the nut! If it is one of the human form it does go downhill or rather up to much salt makes one rather larger then wanted on a nut of food form though depending on what type it can go either way! (i dont know why i said that i just felt like being stupid lol)

Hahaha, let her have it Walter! Watch out, Esther, the man with the comment shotgun is out to blow some suckers down. lol. Now, when it comes to almonds, I have to agree with my DLF on this one. Salt is all good and it has it’s merit and to everything there is a seasoning and a time and place to every paprika under heaven, but nuts are a delicate matter, and too much salt is just too much. And as for your hair trappings, damsels, what can I say but wicked good. Far out. Glorious.

Thank you! fellow DLF (or DBF I should say…:-) nah, I think I’ll go with DF). At least somebody agrees with me. Although I have no idea how we got onto this unrelated subject (Josh, you Mortal Enenemie you!), it’s good stuff anyway I guess. Three cheers for nuts! Huzzah!
(and three cheers for Julia’s hair design; forgot to mention that)

Laughing out loud to Esther, and to the almond eater, let us just go ahead and keep in mind of course that I am, unless you have sprouted several feet in the course of the last few weeks, the definite bigger of the two. That’s bigger with a capital B, by the way. Just wanted to make sure we’re all keeping that in mind. Good. Excellent. Carry on.

Excuse my ignorance but what is DLF or DBF?

  • Kasie

To answer your question Esther, ‘DLF’ is a a phrase used in Prince Caspian (you know, one of the Chronicles of Narnia…), from the dwarf to Edmund meaning our ‘dear little friend.’ ‘DBF’ is my lame version of its opposite, meaning ‘dear big friend.’ ‘DBF’ is my lame version of DLF, this time meaning simply ‘dear big friend.’ :-) (I know, it’s so lame isn’t it? but I couldn’t think of anything better)
Further up, and further in! (also from C.S. Lewis…)
