And no, windows did not survive... but the computer did! It still has a few bugs that I'm slowly working out, but for the most part, fluxbuntu (a flavor of linux) is running smooth as silk. I love it - you type in your username and password, press enter, and within (I kid you not) 3 seconds you have a usable, fully booted desktop. And that's on an older computer.... Yes I did!
