You Make My Day!

May 30th, 2008

Kaysie from Alabastar Box recently awarded me with the “You Make My Day” blog award! Thanks Kaysie! Now we’re to pass on the award to six others…

you make my day

There Is a Season – Camille and family. We enjoy and appreciate all your comments here, and reading what you guys are up to on your blog, and of course, all of your fun contests. :-)

The Thomases You guys are great! We are blessed to be able to follow your lives through pictures on your blog; every week our whole family looks forward to reading a new update. Michael, your photography is beautiful!

The Nisbett Family – more of our friends from the Jamestown 400! It’s wonderful that we’re to be able to keep in touch with each other through our blogs. We especially liked seeing pictures from the many plays you’ve done!

Valiant For Truth – Andrew Higginbotham. (I still think that name is awesome by the way!) Again, it’s a blessing to keep in touch with you and your family through blogging. Keep proclaiming the truth, Sir Valiant!

Anna and Miriam at Maidens of Worth – You may not know this, but I’ve been reading your blog almost since the beginning, a few years ago now. Your passion for the Lord and love for your families is beautiful, and I enjoy your blog so much!

Ella and Erin at ModesTeen – I’ve been greatly blessed by reading your blog. Thanks for sharing insights and lessons learned, and for encouraging young ladies in modesty, character, and purity. And Ella, you’re doing great with your series on Jane Austin heroes. :-)

Now, if you’ve been nominated, your job is to award six others in the blogging world who have made your day. Got it?

Thank you everyone for blessing us so much!

-Kasie

P.S. We did have another blog or 2 that we thought about nominating (hello, Esther), but didn’t know if they would appreciate the “publicity”. :)

Here there be comments...

    Wait… let me get this straight. Only people with websites/blogs can “make your day”? Is this cyber-discrimination? What has the world come to that only those with access to this world wide web have the power to cheer, the power to speak happy thoughts, the capacity to show requited love? Is Providence Glen thus early in its infancy to be made infamous throughout cyberspace as a bastion of hate-mongering and discrimination? Let’s keep in mind that day-making has no correlation to socioeconomic status, shall we? Come on folks, let’s get that bulldozer and level us some playing fields! Thank you, thank you.

    @The Willi: Awww…thanks!!! – …and that’s not adequate enough! (is it redundant to say ‘adequate enough?)

    @Nate: I am often puzzled by what you say, but it makes me laugh anyway.

    Camille, I see by your participative mirth that you too are a champion of the underpriveleged! bravo. -lol- well, seriously, for some reason I do try to be as vague and bombastic as I can in my blog posts. I guess I want our dear friends the Willi to have as… “vibrant” an online community as can be.

    @Nate
    [chuckles] Yes – DO check out Camille’s latest blog post!

    @Camille
    You may have noticed that we have with some of our friends “inside jokes”…. :) Making grandiose speeches saturated in political correctness is Nate’s specialty!

    @Walter – I figured as much, Walter. I don’t understand it, like I said, but it does make me laugh!!!

    Haha, Sir Gwin! (AKA Nate; it’s another inside thing…) Discrimination indeed, but let us not take to er…drastic measures shall we? :-)

    Ah yes Camille, once you get used to SIr Gwin’s way of speech, sense of humor and usage of past inside jokes, you’ll no doubt figure out his puzzling comments and perhaps find them even funnier! We have a lot of that sort of thing around here, of which I’m sure you’ve noticed. :-)
