Upon a Misted Morning

September 1st, 2008

I looked out our bedroom window one morning last week, and saw this!

Isn’t it pretty? Most of the mist had lifted by the time I took these pictures, but with the sun rising behind it I think it looks beautiful. :-)

Happy September everyone!

    Ooh. Shiny.

Looks great. I think that the morning is the best time of day to take pictures because of the angeld light and the misty air. I saw some great shots I should have taken the other day, but I didn’t have a camera. Phooey.

Yours look quite nice, though, and probably better than mine would have.

    Wow!

    I say again, “Wow!”

Those are gorgeous images, Kasie. The composition, lighting, and atmosphere are A-number one. That’s my review from one photographer to another. :-D

Great pictures! Reminds me of the movie Gettysburg.

I think morning is a great time to take pictures too! That and also twilight, in the “golden lighting” as Aunt Frances puts it. (remember, Aunt Frances, at the Creation Museum?) ‘Tis a pity you missed that shot Justin; it must have been pretty. I’ve been learning lately to bring the camera with me when going outside; if I don’t, I usually regret it.

Thanks Aunt Frances! Though I can’t really say it was my brilliance or expertise that made those photos turn out as good as they did. It was just a picture perfect moment and I couldn’t resist!

Gettysburg… You just reminded me, Nate, to watch that movie again – I haven’t seen it in a long time! (we own both it and Gods and Generals) I’ll have to keep an eye out for something that looks like these pictures.
