Thanksgiving – Fun

November 28th, 2008

After a delicious, home-cooked Thanksgiving meal with Dad yesterday, we went to a friends’ house to spend the evening. Since Valerie and Evan’s company left directly after a midday dinner and over at Providence Glen Dad had to leave for work around the same time, we sort of ‘combined forces’ and made a memorable evening together. :-) Laughter filled the air and joy filled our hearts as we played games, knitted, snacked, battled with airsoft guns, and even performed a few silly skits. We had so much fun! What’s Thanksgiving with family and friends without a little fun?

An Explanation For Pictures 12 – 14: It’s commonly known in our family that Nate, while trying to escape sudden death in a savage game of “wall ball”, literally ran head on into a brick wall! Even though his arm was sprained we never failed to see the humor in it all, and last night Nate and Evan ‘reenacted’ that scene for us in slow motion (they even talked in slow motion!).

I hope everyone had fun this Thanksgiving!
