What it Looks Like When…

February 11th, 2009

…you mix a thunderstorm and sunset…

…sometimes it looks like sepia…

…other times, a bit like black and white…

…and lastly, what it looks like when the power goes out…

(Of course, our power is back on now, or else I wouldn’t be writing this post!)

P.S There will be pictures of the Vintage Ball coming up – don’t despair! I’m waiting on a friend of ours to email us additional pictures.

Here there be comments...

    Wow! That is so cool.
I appreciate cool photography of any kind, and this qualifies as it. Heh. That’s awesome.

And I got a camera for Christmas, so now I’m quite into it all and such. I’d like to think I have talent.

But talent’s nothing if I don’t have awesome stuff to photograph like this!

    Thanks Justin!

And congratulations on your new camera! Cameras are awesome things. I’m not very skilled at making a subject look good, but if the subject is already beautiful, I can usually do it justice. (I hope!) I just have this thing about storms… :-)

I’m sure it’s not me you’re waiting on, because I didn’t take any pics at all!

    @Em
It’s Brandon actually. He was taking lots of pictures, plus he has a pretty nice camera, so I’m guessing his quality is better than ours.

Oh! And have a great time this Saturday at the dance! Tell anyone I didn’t see last week that I said hi! :-)

The sky looks pretty. The grass looks greener on this side of the fence, too. :-D
    Thank you!
