We have them hanging in several rooms rather than the usual artsy abstract paintings most folks have. The really fun ones are the kids hanging from the sides of cliffs when we rock climb. Let's see...I really like both kinds of pictures. As for which do I study more closely - I have to say I study both. Which do I remember more? Depends on the album, I guess. I'm thinking back right now - and there are several pictures from my parent's early married years that I can remember of people (they were near and dear to me afterall!) - however, I can also remember pictures of just the ocean and a ferris wheel. If I don't know the people in the pictures of an old album - the scenery pictures are intriguing! As for more modern pictures (ie color photos) I love both! They each serve a purpose.
