I don't know much about herbs at all, but I'm in awe of all the different things they can be used for! This is a really good idea...You'll have to keep us posted on what all you learn to make!

Ah, I see. ;)

I'd like to learn more about herbs! I just love knowing natural remedies for things. (Taking garlic when you feel an illness coming on, for example.)

We have Shoshana's herb DVD too! What really got me interested in herbs though was going to a class taught by our herbalist friend. We learned all kind of stuff, and slowly but surely I'm learning about different herbs, how to make tinctures, salves, infusions, decoctions and the like. I totally want to make my own chapstick! (I love chapstick!) I'm excited.

Anyways, you can obviously dry herbs without a dehydrator, as you know. I just use ours to contain the small mess and keep it out of the way (where it won't be disturbed.

Very cool!

But are you just assuming that we all have dehydrators lying around? ;)

We girls got all excited about herbs this summer, after watching Shoshanna's herb DVD. We gathered a whole bunch of plantain and made a tincture! It was pretty cool.

Never used it though. Heh, heh, heh. ;)
