Beauty and the Beast
Whew! What a wonderful busy weekend this has been, as the first round of Beauty and the Beast flew by. Each performance has been brilliant, with only a few mishaps that just make good memories. Though the last two performances were wonderful and technically more perfect, nothing could compare to the excitement of opening night. Thanks to sweet family and friends, they made it a night to remember.
In other news, Kasie and I have been teaching knittingĀ under the theatre in between our scenes. It’s amazing how quickly the trend grew. Our three students grew to about ten the next day, and we would have had more if we had not run out of needles! We certainly should form a club and name it “Cast – On”
.
Here are the pictures from last weekend. I’ll try to getĀ pictures of the other costumes next time.

@Esther
I know – the make up is freaky! I like myself better in it now though than I did before, ’cause the makeup artist gave me new foundation that matches my skin much better. Yay! No more yellow Kasie faces.
looks like it was great! you’ll have to call me and tell me about it!
Looks like a fantastic production!! I know how much fun you must be having. I wish we could come.Break a leg, but don’t drop a stitch!
It was really fun you girls did great!!!!!
ETA
Nate, ETA and I (plus 3 more good friends) were all sitting in the same section of seats – and we got so many compliments on our hats!
“You guys a ‘group’ or something?”
“Y’all look so dapper!”
And then, a lady sitting behind us (apparently a local TV and movie star) couldn’t stop complimenting us. She also couldn’t stop loudly commenting on how “purdy” another gent friend of ours (Mr. B) was – but I’ll spare you the details…
I love this town.
It looks like it was an awesome experience! Wish I could have seen it! Any one take a video?
Angie, you and Kasie look so beautiful! ( And the roses are beautiful too! )
