Girls’ Night Crafts

May 14th, 2010

Every Thursday night the guys go to a men’s group, studying Norm Wakefield’s Equipping Men series; and every Thursday night they’re gone, us ladies get together at our house and have a “girls’ night in”! We bake goodies, talk, laugh and share stories (a lot of that going on!), sometimes watch a movie, knit or do other crafts. Last night we pooled our scrap booking materials together, and had a stampin’ up party!

I love card making! It’s just a pain to get everything out and clean it up every time a birthday is coming up. Plus, I found that creativity flows best when you’re with friends. :-)

Of course, you can’t have a craft like this going on without a huge mess!

Look what we had at the end of our evening!

A closer look.

Those of you who have birthdays, or any special occasions coming up, you should not have read this post. You just might be getting a beautiful handmade card in the mail!

I love card making- I just rarely do it! I did for all my christmas presents, though! Yours look great! I especially like the one on the far right- with the rafia bow and flowers!

I think you’re referring to one I made. Purple and green was my favorite color combination for that night! They just look so good together.

Hope y’all are doing good–Annie and I are home now, which is so nice. We miss the Tennesseans though! :)
