1950′s Barn Dance!

When it was first decided that this year’s barn dance would be a 50′s theme, I thought how fun it would be to wear a simple poodle skirt and ponytail. Then I thought I could go a little further and have some fun with funky colors and prints. Then I considered the red lipstick and authentic hairstyles, and well, we eventually ended up with this!

What do you think? Does it look like we just stepped out of a 50′s soda shop? :-)

Beautiful surroundings, good music, good dancing, and great friends. It was a wonderful day. I hope yours is just as great!

    oh I love it! Kasie and angie awesome dresses! ETA haha that one pic of him he looked soooooooo 50′s lol hair and all so great! lol Kasie i want your dress! lol man i got to get included in some of these things i want to swing dance! lol

    You’ve seen that dress before, Esther. Actually, the one Bridgette’s wearing is also mine, and made from the same pattern – I wore it at our farewell concert. And no, you can’t have it! :P
